Scott J. Anderson, ESQ., was born in Falmouth, Massachusetts and grew up in Hudson, Florida.

Scott received his B.A. from Florida State University in 1996 and his J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law in Atlanta, Georgia in 2005. Scott worked in Banking and Employee Benefits Consulting prior to Law School. In 2004, Scott was certified as a Civil Mediator by the Supreme Court of Georgia. He was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2005 and the Florida Bar in 2007, and admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 2008.

Scott is a member of: The Florida Bar, The Georgia Bar, The Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar, The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, The Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys and the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association. Scott is also an active volunteer with Three Rivers Legal Aid.

Scott’s special interests include college football and baseball, fishing and kayaking, and traveling with his wife and daughters. Scott has kayaked from Miami to Key West three times (totaling over 500 miles) as a member of the Castaways Against Cancer.
