“I also am a member of a women’s investment group. I like to stay active in
that organization.

Some of the other things that I do from a political perspective are that
I’m on what’s called the Task Force, which is an organization that works
between the Association of Florida Elder Law Attorneys and the Elder Law
Section of the Florida Bar. I’m the Treasurer of the Association of Florida
Elder Law Attorneys, and what we do with that group, that task force is we
review legislation that comes down through the state of Florida legislature
and we take action. So, we’re able to actually lobby certain bills that are
good for seniors and good for those with special needs. We also take
positions on those matters. So that’s something I really take pride in. I
have testified at the legislature on issues that affect seniors, written
position papers, white papers, taken a very active role in trying to keep
our seniors protected.”
