“There are many different assets that we can plan for and advise you on as to how they’re going to count for Medicaid’s purposes. People don’t realize is: you can own rental income-producing property. There’s no limit. You could have a $500,000 property at the beach. As long as you have it rented out and it’s producing rental income that you are paying over to Medicaid, you can own that rental income-producing property, and it’s not going to count against you. It’s an exempt asset.”
