Speaking About Elder Law Issues
Miller Elder Law Firm attorneys Shannon Miller and Mary K. Wimsett were invited attend the White House Conference on Aging on February 19th in Tampa. The White House Conference on Aging is hosting a Regional Forum to engage with older Americans, their caregivers, advocates, community leaders and others on the key elder law issues affecting older Americans. Ms. Miller is very excited to attend the conference and continue her advocacy for Florida’s Seniors. She is the only Board Certified Elder Law attorney in the Eighth Judicial Circuit.
The event is invitation only, however the White House Conference on Aging will be live webcasting the event. So please visit www.hhs.gov/live-3 at 8:30am ET on February 19th to view the live stream.
They have also set up a mechanism on their website for individuals, organizations, coalitions and others to submit comments, share stories, and provide thoughts about the issues. The Conference values the input and ideas of older adults, their families, stakeholders, and others, and they think it is an essential part of the Conference process.
